Israel's Likely Course: Unilateral Action, Separation and No Talks With Hamas - New York Times

This is a very complex subject and I am very ignorant of most of the topics here, but I will say that I am scared. I have zero fear of the "terror" that is out to get me according to some. I'm proud to say that usually I see through the fear mongering that the US politicians love to participate in, but this article gives me the willies. It saddens me that with so much progress being made in science and technology, that there seems to be a huge slide back towards the primordial pool from which we came in so many other areas. Between war, terrorism, and religious radicals (are these subjects connected perhaps?) many things are reversing course and becoming the exact opposite of ideal. Use whichever word you care to use. I like shithole.

1. I don't think people are idiots. I know that they are running options through their own moral and ethical value set when they make decisions (most of the time).

2. I do not "hate" anything in the literal sense, becuase to do so is an abomination to intelligence and logic.

3. I hate how religion turns a lot of people into idiots and causes them to do things which just don't make any goddamn sense.
